<table width="370" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"> <tr> <td class="greytext"> <strong><span class="greentext">Research Associate</span></strong></p> <strong>Location:</strong> Long Grove, IL.</p> <strong>General Description:</strong> <br> Execution of laboratory, greenhouse, and small-scale field experiments designed for the efficacy evaluation of lead compounds on plant stress tolerance.<br><br>Principal Responsibilities:<br>-Assist in finding new uses for existing plant growth regulators.<br>-Assist in developing methods for discovering new plant growth regulators.<br>-Assist in developing methods to assess effects of new and existing plant growth regulators.<br>-Assist in providing scientific information to support marketing, formulations, and development as needed.<br>-Provide guidance in technique development.<br>-Assure safe work practices are used.<br><br>Experience: <br> 2 5 years of related experience. <br>Laboratory, greenhouse or field experience<br>Good understanding of experimental design, botany and plant growth regulators<br>Analytical Laboratory experience (industry or academic)<br>Basic understanding of instrumental analysis and botany<br>Good understanding of experimental design and plant physiology.<br>Ability to work in a process-oriented and team environment.<br>Motivated to learn new skills and complete jobs on time.<br>Meticulous work habits and good organizational skills.<br><br>Education: BS or MS in Biology/Chemistry with some plant biology background<br><br>We will only contact you when scheduling an interview.<br></p> </td> </tr> </table>
