Foray® is a commercial formulation of Bacillus
thuringiensis subspecies kurstaki (Btk).
It has been used as a tool for the control of forest
caterpillar pests since the mid-'70s, and over the
past two decades both the product and the application
technologies have evolved.
After decades of use and ever continuing research in the forest and the lab, Foray has proven itself an ecologically and environmentally friendly product.
Its mode of action exhibits a unique insecticidal activity specific to Lepidopteran insects such as gypsy moth, spruce budworm and Douglas fir tussock moth.
