ProGibb is one of the most widely used plant growth regulators in commercial agriculture.
The use of ProGibb dates back to the early 1960s where its remarkable effects on seedless table grape production were discovered and developed.
The active ingredient in ProGibb is gibberellic acid, a plant growth regulator found naturally in virtually all plant species.
Gibberellic acid is primarily a very potent growth promotant – increasing size and quality of fruits, vegetables and other crops – but it also plays a key role in the regulation of other plant processes such as flowering, seed germination, dormancy and senescence.
In seedless table grapes, ProGibb is used in all growing areas of the world to consistently produce uniformly sized, loose clusters with large berries of excellent eating quality and eye appeal.
