Soil Disease for Avocado
Due to the steadfast nature of soil-borne diseases, best results will be obtained if a control measure is used prior to disease onset or in the earliest stages of disease development. Soil diseases vary based on crop and can be fungal or bacterial.
Avocado is susceptible to the following soil-borne diseases:
- Armillaria Crown and Root Rot (Shoestring Rot) (Armillaria mellea)
- Crown Rot (Fusarium)
- Fusarium Wilt (Fusarium oxysporum)
- Phytophthora Crown and Root Rot (Phytophthora)
- Verticillium Wilt (Verticillium)
